Information and notifications for Third and Fourth classes.

Today, Local firemen visited 3rd class to present the Primary Schools Fire Safety Programme. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

3rd class have been very busy learning to knit over the past few weeks. We would like to thank Rose, Ann, Josephine, Jo, Mary and Christina who came in to help us every week. We knitted teddies, scarves and bunnies.

Congratulations to our under 11 quiz team who took part in the second round of the Credit Union Schools Quiz in Westport on Sunday 28th February. The team were placed third in the quiz. Well done to all involved.

Third Class had lots of fun during Maths week.  We explored symmetry in our Art lesson. On Friday we took part in the Marshmallow Challenge.  

We had a very enjoyable soccer league during the Summer Term. Well done to all involved. Thanks to Mr. Donnellan for organising it. Mrs King with the winning team.

Thanks to the ladies who came into third class every Wednesday for the past six weeks to help us learn how to knit. We are delighted with our finished products!
